Lancia Flaminia GT 2.8 by Touring of Milan 1964 In its original colour scheme of silver with black leather first registered in Belguim with three owners in all was the 8th from last built, The Flaminia was a technical tour de force with an all alluminium V6 with hemispherical combustion chambers, rear mounted gearbox with diff (transaxle) double wishbone front suspension and de dion rear axle both derived from the the all conquering Lancia formula one car the D50 disc brakes all round, in board at the rear. It was contemporary with the heavier Aston Martin DB4 which drove like a lorry by comparison in fact Enzo Ferrari described the flaminia GT coupes as "the best handling cars available today" with virtual 50/50 weight distribution the steering is light and extremely precise. Only 168 were made probably less than half that number left.
